I’ve been a person of faith most of my life. Not the best church-goer of late, but I pray most every day.

Prayer helps me start the day, prayer helps me cope, prayer helps me hang on.

I have a pretty standard sequence by which I pray…

Gratitude,

Forgiveness for my failings,

For those who’ve died,

For those given more time,

For those battling, suffering,

For those around the world,

For my family, immediate and extended.

It usually takes awhile to go through all those thoughts and prayers; I’m going to change it up and see how that goes for a day or two.
