Sometimes it’s ok to hit the “easy button.” Overall, I try to lean in when it gets hard; or at least, I like to think that’s my preference. Pushing oneself and dealing with difficulty head-on builds endurance, or is “character-building”, as my grandma used to say.

That said, taking the easier road sometimes is ok too. Take that road, and use the time to catch your breath, rest a bit, reset.

Or write a blog post. That’s what I just did while waiting in line to pick up a couple pizzas I ordered for take-out.
