Sharpening The Resistant Ax

We are all born with certain innate qualities; we all have tendencies, preferences, natural skills, abilities.

Also, we can all learn new skills, even if they are not so intuitive, so innate.

After decades of work experience, I find myself in such a job, honing skills that have never come easy, never come fast, not without struggle.

Like playing cards or doing word problems, I need extra time to sift and sort, the data and the processes and my thinking.

But slowly, surly, the ax is gaining an edge. More sharpening stone may grind away, bit by bit,

And slowly you see the glisten, the angle, angled toward progress, angled toward GOOD.
