Surely the world we thought we knew, in many ways, is no more…

And yet, the timeless hope of the season, the faint light flickers, and we are want to hope for a better day tomorrow.

Surely the world has changed forever,

Surely we can cling to a thread of hope, that it will be a better day tomorrow.
