Well Spoken

Watching NFL football this past weekend, was struck by the poise with which players and coaches talk to reporters, often-times. I know in this era of social media, etc. — and long before, most likely — there’s a hightened awareness of the sound-bites that get pulled from interviews.

Believe too that many (all?!) teams have Public Relations specialists that provide coaching to all personnel that might be public-facing, might get interviewed; in this way players, etc. will have a better chance of putting their (and their organization’s) best foot forward to the public.

Well, all that said, to a person from the interview bits I heard before, during, and after games, everyone was very well spoken.

That’s it. Just props to those guys. And actually, props to every reporter I listened to as well; all women, all know their stuff, are very well prepared, and do a fine job interviewing on the field, in the moment.

Bravo. BRAVO.
