I wouldn’t say I’m a techy guy, but I try to avail myself of useful technology when I can; tech that’s intended to make life easier.

Like communication tools. They help for sure. Or can. But they can also intrude.

Like MS Teams. I have it on my phone. It’s my personal phone. But Teams is a work thing. And I don’t log off.

So I see the messages queue whenever I look at my phone. It’s the siren’s call. But on the weekends, or vacation, I try not to check work messages. When I was younger I felt more obligated. trying to be less obligated now. To the siren’s call.
