Coping with and adapting to change is a fundamental life skill; the better you get at it the happier you’ll be.
My son therefore should be a champion at this skill by the time he’s an adult.
He’s had to make several adjustments in his young life. Severe anxiety, food allergies, adapting to life in two homes after his mom and I split up, Autism, and most recently, an onset of Epilepsy.
We’re now all learning to cope with seizure. Meds will hopefully help him. But in the immediate, it’s the reality of the episodes we’re adapting to. Mostly they’ve be occurring at night.
As in,
12:41am
Seizure
: a sudden attack(as of disease)
especially : the physical manifestations (such as convulsions, sensory disturbances, or loss of consciousness) resulting from abnormal electrical discharges in the brain (as in epilepsy)
Whew.
