Surgery: A Visceral View

Daily Prompt: “Have you ever had surgery? What for?”

I’ve been fortunate mostly, when it comes surgeries. I’ve had a three procedures in my life, but over all, modest episodes to accomplish moderate corrections to my physical well-being.

I had lower abdominal surgery as a teen to have varicose veins tied off;

I had the anterior collateral legiment in my left knee replaced in my twenties;

And finally (so far), I had a vasectomy in my forties after my third kid was born.

So that’s me.

All three times under the knife, all three times trusting in God and surgeon, all three times successful, intended outcome achieved,

Amen AMEN.
