Not too long ago I heard actor comment in an interview about a recent, massive lose he experienced – his partner died after a battle with cancer.

In the convo the interviewer asked him if that informed his work, and especially when the character he’s playing has had similar experience.

His answer and description struck home with its simplicity and insight,

That after a major life loss, we are hallow, and nothing can really fill that in,

But also that many a thing that makes beautiful sound is hallow, that we recognize the wonder of that hallowed thing, that there is great soul and magic in the hallow,
