Pretty fired up, ready for some hoop, shoot-around Sunday then,

Waylaid,

Obstacle upon obstacle pop up, attitudes sideways, no my way of thinking at all,

Unleashed struggle and demons abound, bouncing off the walls, up and down,

Incredible turn of events, no tent big enough to hold all the angst, over and over it washes, further and further try hoop recedes, until a nothing dot on far-off horizon,

Wanted to play, didn’t, oh well, that’s life,

Sometimes you don’t get what you want,

That’s life.
