Here’s how it went the other night.

Pushing two of my three kids to take showers before 730p, because their other sibling will be home late from dance practice and need to shower. And everyone needs to be lights out by 900p, because it’s early rise tomorrow for drop off to their mom.

655p: Last prod before I depart; three errands to run, two unplanned;

702p: Drop off supplies for my mom at the board & care where she lives; got a call an hour ago she needed stuff and could not wait until tomorrow night

715p: Picked up number three kid from dance practice.

733p: Stopped by the kids’ mom’s house to pick up meds he has to take twice a day and I was out of supply (didn’t know that until 631p).

755p: Arrive home, applaud shower efforts, then start angling everyone to be ready for bed by 830p.

855p: All teeth brushed, good nights said, lights finally out.
