I’ve journaled off and on throughout my life. What I can to understand about writing for me is that it’s therapeutic, insightful, necessary.
Well-known writer / director / producer Robert Rodriguez goes about it this way, says ChatGPT,
“…maintaining a daily digital journal, writing approximately 1,000 to 2,000 pages annually using his computer. He sets a nightly alarm at midnight to prompt his journaling habit, often utilizing Word on his Apple laptop for entries. This practice allows him to document daily experiences, which he later reviews to gain insights into his life and creative process.”
I need sleep as much as writing, so I don’t write to the extent as does Rodriguez,
But between the various digital platforms I use and this blog, I scribble a fair amount. Indeed, these past 12 years this blog is probably my most consistent record. More than forty thousand words the last couple of years.
Writing?
GOOD.
