American holiday, meant to honor all the people who have lead these United States of America, from 1 – 47,

Sometimes hard to honor those we don’t agree with when it’s in the extreme,

Extreme delta in my view just now, current president and those prior,

Unitary Executive Theory, near all-powerful president, not our American democracy the way I see it, think it,

Think instead The Founders envisioned three co-equal branches of power & authority to govern our lands,

Think any leader as president who doesn’t listen to all people, who leaves people behind, worse still persecutes and plunders in our society, not fit for office,

Think above all else The Executive should unify our communities and solidify our security with great temperance and respect,

Respect also the history and the precedence established that affords stability and predictability and eventually broadens, lengthens the table of good fortune offered to all,

Respect for the office until that respect is abused, respect until the officer ignores the very people who install the authority of the office,

Then thinking back to those presidents who gave our country so much, thinking of who will rise next to lead, lead us out of darkness and to the light of a new, brighter day,

A new & brighter day.
