Swirl start, do my part to help the world go ‘round,

Wake in the dark, need a spark to begin the day the right way, need to know, see the path forward, eventually becomes clear,

But first the swirl to contend with, muddle through, cope,

The thoughts swirl up, racing across my mind, long ago things and not happened things and everything in between,

Tasks to complete, projects spelled out, chores under feet, done to a reasonable end,

Bend time to go slow, still, that be my will, would that I could make it just so, slow the swirl, thus the day begins.
