Annual remembrance, recognizing the many, the masses, humanity,

The many millions, billions even, all those that struggle to make ends meet,

So many of those who also are the main source of labor that keeps the global economic engine churning,

Would that this engine function in a way that also provides for the masses, the many millions, billions who struggle to live with basic comforts and dignity, that our human community has thus evolved that more may struggle less,

May Day, we honor those many who labor on, workers of the world, we see you, honor you, this day.
