What’s one habit that has improved your life the most?
Not flashy for sure, but two basic practices have helped my life perspective and approach.
One for sure you’ve heard before, actually probably both. But number one is the old adage, “make your bed every day.” Simple wisdom. I’ve heard it from admiral / Navy SEAL types, and many others besides,
It takes less than five minutes, and it makes all the difference in setting the stage for each day, setting the stage for whatever comes your way.
Make your bed.
Number two is a broad and simple practice as well, I would say much more difficult than making your bed. Practicing and applying patients is my suggestion, the forever lesson of living well. I think Patient provides both a path to mental health, and also a source of fortitude and assurance that you can see through any challenging time, any difficulty,
Not because you can always realize your desired outcome, but you can accept whatever outcome becomes reality.
Have patience.
