I’m not at all proud of it, especially at my age and disposition. I should be able to smoothly, calmly, flawlessly handle the big and small bits that come up each day,
But sometimes it feels heavier, stickier, chunky, these piecemeal bits of expected and unexpected tasks, issues, challenges, complexities that come up,
These things that have to be handled, addressed, fixed, resolved,
Just what do I mean?
The things that come up that gobble up 45 minutes rather than 5 minutes — or even zero minutes! — or maybe those things drag out over hours, days, weeks, months (!), as you find your way toward resolution,
Maybe I’m the only one, but all that piecemeal piles up and equals drudgery sometimes,
Piecemeal Drudgery but,
No matter, that’s life sometimes,
That’s life.
