Repeat blog title sorta, repeat theme, annual pause to recognize all those who labor.
You might say everyone labors in some way; having spent most of my forty years working so far on the White Collar Side, I can say for sure many such workers bust their ass just as those who labor more with their hands in their Blue Collars, but on this day,
I speak more specifically of those with the swollen hands and aching backs and dirty clothes;
I lift up my gratitude to those who do the dusty and demanding physical tasks, those who give us a nicer place to live and work, food to eat, wine to drink,
The housekeepers, landscapers, cleaners, ditch-diggers, roofers, grape pickers, painters, rooter plumbers, farm workers, carpenters, et. al.
So, so, SO many workers to thank, those who keep things going,
and food growing & making it to the stores, the shelves,
and homes, yards, & streets looking good,
Honor, Labor, All,
Thank You,
GRATITUDE.
