So my son said to me the other morning, “Dad, don’t disrupt the process…”, as he was getting ready for school and I said,

“What …?! …”, softly to myself, chuckling inside.

“Ok ok”, replied to him with a hand raised slightly in silent deference to his better wisdom,

Learning when to do that, to defer to your child’s efforts and maybe judgement too, becoming an adolescent becoming an adult,
