Occupational Hazard: Pinch, Pull, Poke, Slice

At face value, you might expect the hazard to be low, white collar work, it in the trades,

Not so, not so.

Material handling, the mental, the physical, makes the world go around. Not the builders or the makers but doers all the same,

Thinking and counting and moving and finding, all these things, and an unexpected ouch might occur now and again,

A little ouch, occupational hazard; Pinch, Pull, Poke, Slice, unexpected, sneaky careful gotta be,

The other day banding a wooden crate, who knew, who knew, the math, the might occur, did occur, first the math, a lot of banding to do the job, banding made of thin metal, handle with care,

87 + 53 + 87 + 53, inches, 280 of them, 23.3333333 feet (0.3333 also fun to note, about a third of a unit, 1/3, homage for later), but I digress,

Wrapping the crate four, five ways to make it secure for travel across the seas, safe and sound and secure, specific, metal pinch brackets to hold the banding when tightened in place, specific tools, meant for the job, one purpose, careful purpose.
