In the fourth grade I had a class called “Study Skills.”  It changed my life.

The class taught us to organize our materials. It taught us to plan. It taught us to prioritize. I loved it.

Flash forward forty years and I’m still using those skills and love of jottings. I’ve got work notebooks and little pocket notebooks and digital lists and journals and all that together? It keeps me going forward. 

I still struggle to organize everything but I love the process and I love the references and I love to write it down. And I do. Everywhere. All the time.
