This from a gentleman I follow on Twitter, a great declaration of self. I wouldn’t say I can relate to every line, but relate or not, it’s a fine example of settling in to who you are and where you’re at.

I asked him first about sharing this, he said “Yeah”, so had to share it:

“I feel good.
I feel clean.
I feel whole.
For the first time.
I am forgiven. By me.
For shitty parents and
Things I had no control over.
I’m not lacking.
I’m self-contained.
Great additions to my life,
Will arrive on their own schedule.
Until then I am solid and centered.
