Oh sweet slumber, trusted respite, each night through,

Then wake on the ‘morrow, once again, trodding to,

The next mistake, or inspiration, find joy in each, oh yes it’s true,

Find this path, each day I’m certain, the only way for me and you,

And so I greet my dear sweet slumber, once again, and then to follow, the morning dew,

I will do again, do again, one step at a time, the next right thing, push forward,

After sweet slumber, show the way, be the way, one step at a time.
