There’s a battle in my brain. It’s about sleep.
I KNOW conventional wisdom on sleep is, adults should generally get 7-8 hours per night to be healthy.
I strive for that, make decisions to go to bed early, etc. And THEN,
Other side of brain wakes me up during that well-planned slumber. Drat!
And so I scribble down the story at 3am to counter-act the disruption of this battle.
Hush, brain, I need to sleep.
