Connected with a couple of good friends recently after work. Good insights, good sharing…it had been a while since we’d seen each other. It was great to catch up.

Conversation topics covered many aspects…of our lives just now, the predictable, and the timely…kids, sports, upcoming travel,…

Near the end, we talked about the Russian-Ukrainian war… Seems strange to even say that out loud… But it’s a reality, and one that we have strong opinions therein…

And in the aftermath of all the dialogue, I realize I need to read more, be more aware of the details…I follow the headlines, listen to the news and commentary…but I need to go deeper.

In the aftermath, I resolve to be more informed, and still all-in, with empathy.

Empathy…GOOD. Old friends…GOOD.
