I find my self there a lot, in between. I seem to see both sides of many things. Politics, business decisions, home life, vacation preferences, you name it, I often see the merits of more than on “preferred” side.

Does that make me wishy-washy? Indecisive? Maybe, but I don’t think so. Of course you might expect me to say that; after all, being indecisive isn’t a particularly admirable trait.

I prefer to think of myself as pliable to different preferences, depending on the circumstance.

A more tangible example? Well, I love to sleep. But I also can be up well before the sun, or contrastingly, one who stays up late. As long those two aren’t back to back — then that wouldn’t be my favorite — but otherwise, bring it…!

There are many, many situations time and again where I say something like, “…if I feel strongly I’ll tell you; otherwise, I can go with the flow pretty well, pliable to the consensus.

Maybe I’m making much ado about nothing, that many, or most people are like this, like me. Not sure.

I do know, I like seeing multiple sides, and being able to understand and appreciate others’ opinions and preferences without dismissing them.

In the middle, in between, right where I like it.
