It’s that time of year again. It’s that time when the Lions club I belong to gathers food during a weekend food drive,

Organizes into two food boxes per family,

And distributes to 175 families throughout Santa Clara Valley on Monday.

It’s likely the most meaningful work we do. It’s basic. It’s direct. The help goes right where it’s needed.

Four long days, full of action and problem-solving and in the end, fundamental satisfaction at the work completed.
