Scribbled down after another month’s close, the books, the business,
No accountant am I, but still a role to play, one of the last left at work, on-line, closing things out.
Modest role to be sure, but still time into evening, last of a few cars on the lot, sun two hours gone by the time I depart,
But grateful for the role and camaraderie, being tuned to the business, up close and cozy,
Then soon home to bed, cozy and content for another job completed,
Another job completed,
GOOD.
