Bloganuary Prompt: “Think back on your most memorable road trip.”

I LOVE road-trips. Straight up. And I’ve got lots of friends and family in the Pacific Northwest.

So one of my favorite places to roadtrip to, and favorite roadtrips on record, is up that way…

We’re talking I-5, up through Northern California, to / through Oregon, on to Seattle, Washington and beyond. That’s the classic up and back I’ve done with my kids.

The epic of epics for me is out I-80 into Nevada, cut north through Idaho, and into eastern Oregon, onto Washington, and then back down the west side on I-5. I’ve only done that one twice. Gotta do it again soon!

I love the variety of scenery, people and weather…I just love the great expanse of the western US…and the road gets my toes to tapping….!
