More on the theme of reset, a little more on one of the examples noted in yesterday’s post.
I have a friend, an older guy – pushing 80 anyway – who through diabetes and circulation problems had to have his lower leg amputated.
A mutual friend commented,
“I’d be goddamn depressed if that was happening to me…but somehow E just deals with it…”
And so the theme bubbles up again, adapt and overcome. Even adapting to losing one of your limbs, part of your leg, relearning how to walk with a prosthetic, or not; maybe learning how to use a wheelchair to get around, the house, the neighborhood, the world. What is there to do? What choice do you have?
Plain and simple, my humble opinion, if you’re still breathing, you’ve got more to do on live,
Plain and simple, adapt and overcome,
Gotta do it,
GOT TO DO IT.
