Ease In, Meditative Start

Prompt: “Describe one positive change you have made in your life.”

A recent change in the manner I begin each day is helping my mindset quite a bit.

Rather than immediately jumping into “work mode” — with email and calendar on the smart phone it’s easier than ever ! — but rather than jump right in, I make a specific effort to set my mind for the day first.

What does this mean in practice?

A little prayer,

A little mantra,

A little deep breathing,

It’s a deliberate effort to put my mind in a good place, on firm foundation, to respond favorably to the events the day, whatever they may be.

GOOD.
