Next to me a grey Honda CRV, windows down too,

Mom talking to teen-age son,

I’m listening to Steve Winwood, “Higher Love”, in my right ear,

Can’t help but hear in my left, bits of mom/son convo,

“… two people can have the same experience, and one person can feel very positive about it, and the other person may feel very differently… It’s all about your perspective, your attitude… “,
