Two Instances

Two instances occurred the other day, back to back, got me thinking, flip that attitude!

One, at a store to pick up a few IPA, clerk asked me for my ID, kinda forgot, my license is expired, waiting on the new one, clerk was just doing his job, had to call his manager,

I didn’t have the time to wait, had to go, was a little miffed, bit by the time I got to the car, I realized it was me who needed to change the approach, not the guy at the counter.

Two, pulled up behind an SUV at a stop light, our light was green, SUV waiting to turn left, so was I,

SUV waited behind the cross walk, lots of on-coming traffic, light turned yellow, no left for us. Miffed again,

But then I looked in SUV’s side mirror, face of the driver, a bit nervous, unsure,

And again a lesson for me, slow the roll, slow the roll,

Two instances, easy does it,

Easy does it.
