Funny thing, two of my oldest friends are both named Murphy. And back in my family a bit, there’s a Murphy somewhere, so that makes me a Murphy too.
These two guys, separated by schools — I went to middle and high school with one, and then college with another —
And these guys are different in many ways, but I love and respect them both, appreciate their perspective in life, their talents, and feel an affinity for them both, all this time, over decades…
And I don’t get to see, or talk to either of them all that often, different lives, different, demands on time, but when I do get to see them, or just talk on the phone, it’s an instant refill of the bucket…
On this particular weekend, I get to connect with them both. Tom on day one, Scott on day two… So so good. GOOD.
And whether it’s a long afternoon of walking the streets in San Francisco, visiting a couple, cool places, or just sitting on the phone in my living room, talking, it really is all the same, reconnecting, rejuvenating, catching up…
And so this post is a simple tribute to both of these lifelong friends that I have had, have,
And like I said, I love them both, so grateful, for two Murphs.
