Priority One: Be You

It’s basic, it’s simple, it’s SO important: Be true to you, first and foremost everyday.

As responsibilities and commitments pile up, don’t lose track of you.

That’s not to say welch on commitments you’ve made, or shirk responsibilities …

What it does mean is, say “no” when you need to, and keep your priorities straight.

These truths especially resonate when you work within organizations. The organization will always prefer it’s goals and objectives first.

If the organization is set-up properly and running in a healthy and sustainable manner, that very structure should allow for the well-being of its members.

But at the end of the day, you have to look out for you first; take care of you and your loved ones first.

“To thine own self be true.”
