From one of the greatest writers in the English Language, from some 500 years ago,

Shakespeare, writing in “Hamlet”,

“…to thine own self be true…”

Many pundits over many centuries have pondered the meaning, many focusing on the theme of loyalty.

I share this view, settling on a twin tract, one should be true to one’s nature, and in lock-step, drive for the highest ideals you can manage, and force yourself, insist, that you are true to you,

Then you have lived your authentic life.
