For a long time I’ve listened to Classical Music, decades really. From 30 years back I can recall first finding Classical KDFC 149.9 FM in the SF Bay Area. As I drove around during the day as a courier, and then field sales guy, more often than not, I had that music playing softly, quietly in the background.

And after all those years, I still can’t really tell composers apart when I’m listening. But no matter! The music sooths my soul for sure, helps me remain or return to calm and have an easier time of things. Just so grateful.

Comes to mind as we conclude this political season, elections, and will see politics remain largely polarized and difficult in this country, I’ll be leaning heavy on Strauss, Mozart, Vivaldi, Brahms, Beethoven, Bach, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Schubert, and the rest to get through each day, sometimes each hour, along the way.
