My bro texted me the other morning, hitting the gym as his day got started. Getting the body and mind revved up for the day, one of the best ways right there with morning exercise.
My mornings are quite different, forged by kids life and my chronic anxieties.
Scribbling down thoughts, reflections (like now), just a few minutes here and there,
Kids soon need this and that, difficult to block time for sustained exercise effort when they are here, only half time,
The other half, I find myself needing to recover from the frenetic pace, and there’s more elders’ care to consider too, and alone with my anxiety to the fore, wanting to scribble more, exhale, reset,
All told no doubt, mornings best, that’s when it’d be best to include some bit of exercise, plug it in somewhere, grind it out,
No doubt better to fit a bit in, pause, stretch, and grind it out.
