It comes every year. Tax Day. Income tax in particular. The deadline for filing federal and state reporting that settles up if we owe any monies.

In my view a simple, civic duty to pay a portion of earnings if you’re able to help the country operate.

A few quick thoughts:

The government deciding how much chaps some.

How billionaires pencil it out to not pay any income tax is baffling.

Sure I wish I could keep more of money to myself, but it’s also appreciate the services our government provides.

The Tax Man Cometh. Pay up.
