Trail Therapy

Recent Sunday morning. Early out, at the parking lot before eight o’clock; the parking lots are nearly full.  Grateful for a spot, and out on the trail I head.

All shapes and sizes. All colors and materials. Some with clothing, looking to be straight from REI, others straight from a classroom, or work almost. I saw a guy running in jeans, and he cruised by me, not a very young man either.

Again reminded of the universal salve to the soul the trail time allows, for each of us, up for offer, for anyone.   So many languages and outfits and pieces, all with one purpose, to be on the trail, to be out in the natural world.

Reminded again why I love living here with such diversity and such opportunity,

Trail Time,

Soul Time,

Grateful,

GOOD.
