For at least a couple months of May, in the last few years, I’ve done a haiku poem most days on this blog,

The idea being May has the fewest letters of the months, and haiku is about short form, word, expression,

So I thought it was nice change and a stretch and a good idea to use the month for haiku,

I’m not much of a poet, but I enjoy the writing, and fresh expression seems to be a good idea, wherever you can get it mostly,

So this May of 2025, I’m gonna try parallel writing, completing the draft of a book I’ve had in mind for a while, using the haiku from this blog as the basis for content,

And though I have a lot of plates in the air, more than normal, life-changingly different, it’s still worth a try,

So hey hey, it’s Mayday, let’s go,
