Treasure hunt in my hometown, 50 years at least, a spring cleaning, sponsored by the city government,

Municipal resources used to pick up any and all discarded items, most anything, put out during one week in the spring,

Spring cleaning becomes also a treasure hunt, people roaming the streets of the city, trucks, and otherwise, anything to carry anything they perceive is valuable,

This time of year was magic when I was a kid admittedly, found a few treasures, myself way back when, nothing things that somehow meant something,

I still feel that hint of excitement, seeing discarded things, treasures, treasure hunt, treasure hunters everywhere.
