This day in America, marked to remember all those who have made “the ultimate sacrifice” for our country, died in service to our country,

How many?

Maybe two or three million all told including the Civil War,

Though I honor ever life lost therein, I prefer to think more broadly still, to all who have served in the military, the risk some measure present,

And especially for those who have died in service,

I just say, THANK YOU.
