Fun to be a dad on this particular day,

It’s nice, being celebrated a bit,

It’s soulful to remember my dad and grandpa on this day, all they did for me, striving to pass along the same,

Having the day to putter without guilt, watch a little more, chore a little less,

A few moments to reflect on the humbling duty we have as dads,

To provide and protect and help our kids learn how to live, find their own way,

Humbling for sure, on Dad’s Day.
