Getting out in the community, just little, just sometimes, it makes a difference,

Makes a difference for you, and for those around you, participating n life actively or passively, but together, it makes a difference,

Case in point, this sometimes extrovert I know, yours truly, I definitely also like to be in hermit mode, just me in my world,

Just in my world reading, writing, pondering, napping, watching, doing, being, being truly just me,

And then when I get out, when I do engage with others, all this new energy and ideas begin to swirl about,

Just about the time I need it, it’s there, just by getting out,

And out in the community to help others, strangers? All the better! There’s plenty of need, more have-nots than haves, and when we lend a hand well,

When we lend a hand it’s good for the other, and for you too, it’s win-win,

Out in the community, helping others,
