It hits different, depending on the day. The feelings it affects, also vary by circumstance, maybe by substance too.

Sometimes a pick-me-up, or similarly, a kick-starter to the day, welcome strong flavor, hot, black liquid, 

Careful sips lest I burn my tongue if hot, or cold brew, bigger pull, faster zip,

Sometimes a welcome pause in the day, late, intentional slow down to frenetic, pace, chaotic interruptions and resets, liquid boost,

Then icy cold, full gulps a better choice, as the flavor and fizz fills me a bit up, calm ensues, and a slower, sense of life and capacity to cope settles in,

The two different, both welcome.
