Like other holidays or feast days, Easter is a day to reflect and worship and celebrate and be together with others…

It’s also the beginning of a season when we are invited to start anew, see and act in more meaningful and intentional ways to help others, and make the world a better place.

For me personally Easter Monday 2025 will be a day I will never forget. Pope Francis died on that day. And my mother had a catastrophic fall that began her decline and passing four months later.

Both of the events left marks on me I will carry the rest of my days. These marks strengthen and fortify me in love. And in my responsibility to love and help others.
