I find myself frequently thinking, feeling, my life is better because of my writing; I’m not sure if anyone else’s life is better as a result of this blog, these posts, this regular practice.
I recall the inspiration to write every day; it came from the likes of Fred Wilson, an engineer become venture capitalist, and writer / blogger besides. [ You can check his work out here: https://avc.com/ ] When I read that he wrote in his blog every day, I started thinking I needed to do the same.
So now I do. It’s been a few years I’ve been writing every day. And I’m better off as a result. Scribbling the thoughts down, sharing out for better or otherwise (I hope mostly better), and hell,
If nothing else, my kids will be able to look back at this blog when I’m dead & gone (not to be morbid, but rather simply realistic), they’ll have this record to read back through when the inspiration sparks to remember me, my voice, my funky, quirky, particular perspective on things,
