I like poke.
As you may know, poke is raw fish marinated in some sort of sauce; tuna and salmon are two examples of fish served in this way.
No one else in my family eats fish, so I don’t have it often; but when they have it on sale in the Costco deli, I sometimes treat myself to a twenty dollar treat of poke.
After all, it’s fish! A healthier protein option than any red meat; high in protein and Omega-3 Fatty acids; better for your cardiovascular health.
This particular time recently, I found a broccoli poke salad recipe, and gave it a go, with Spicy Salmon Poke bought earlier in the day. Tossed in some chopped cucumber and little homemade Japanese mayo,
