My youngest, 12, this is one of her catchphrases, and she did it recently,

She found a loophole through fear, and pain, and infection … found her courage to do the thing, to let the medical professionals help her treat an infected area on her skin behind her ear,

She’s been coping with this low-grade off / on infection for months and months, all with home treatments, but it was finally the day in urgent care where she got the professional treatment she needed to clean and treat and begin to heal the wound …

And it was very hard initially for her to find her footing, to find the loophole to healing, but she did it.

SO proud of her.
